هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن فاعلية برنامج تربوي لتطوير مهارات تدريس القراءة لدى معلمي الصف الأول الابتدائي في مادة اللغة العربية في مدارس صلاح الدين بالعراق، ومن أجل تحقيق هذا الهدف تم استخدام المنهج التجريبي. تكونت الأدوات من استبانة احتياجات تدريبية على مهارات تدريس القراءة، وتصميم برنامج تربوي لتطوير تدريس المهارات في ضوء احتياجاتهم، وبطاقة ملاحظة مهارات تدريس القراءة للمعلمين. اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج التجريبي القائم على تصميم المجموعة الواحدة ذو (التطبيق القبلي والبعدي)، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من معلمي الصف الأول الابتدائي البالغ عددهم (32) معلما ومعلمة، بعد الانتهاء من تطبيق البرنامج تم اخضاع النتائج للتحليل الإحصائي، وبينت النتائج وجود فروق بين متوسطي درجات المعلمين في التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي من ناحية تطور المهارات لصالح التطبيقي البعدي، مما يدل على فعالية البرنامج، ولوحظ عدم وجود فروق تُعزى إلى متغيري: المؤهل العلمي، سنوات الخبرة حول درجة فعالية البرنامج في تطوير مهارات القراءة. بناء على نتائج الدراسة تم التوصل إلى مجموعة مقترحات من أهمها إجراء دراسات حول فعالية برامج لتطوير المهارات اللغوية عامة والقراءة خاصة في مراحل دراسية متقدمة، وأوصت بضرورة إخضاع معلمي اللغة العربية إلى دورات اختصاصية في مجال طرائق التدريس الحديثة باستمرار. The objective of the present study was to uncover the effectiveness of an educational programme to develop reading teaching skills for primary grade teachers in the subject of the Arabic language in Salah al-Din schools in Iraq. To achieve this objective, the experimental curriculum was used. The tools consisted of identifying training needs in reading teaching skills, designing an educational programme to develop teaching skills in the light of their needs, and a reading teaching skills observation card for teachers. The study adopted the experimental method based on single group design (pre - and post-application. After the programme was implemented, the results were statistically analysed. The results showed differences between the average scores of teachers in the pre - and post-application in terms of skills development in favour of the latter, which is indicative of the effectiveness of the programme. No differences were observed attributable to two variables: scientific qualification and years of experience in the degree of effectiveness of the programme in the development of reading skills. Based on the results of the study, a number of proposals were made, the most important of which were to conduct studies on the effectiveness of programs to develop language skills in general and reading in particular at advanced levels of study.
