إن البحث مستلا من الرسالة، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث قامت الباحثة ببناء مقياس لقياس الذكاء الشعوري، وتكون المقياس من (42) فقرة بصيغة نهائية، ولكل فقرة خمس بدائل هي (تنطبق علي دائما - تنطبق علي غالبا - تنطبق علي أحيانا - تنطبق علي نادرا - لا تنطبق علي أبدا). استهدف البحث التعرف على مستوى الذكاء الشعوري لدى طلبة الدراسات العليا، والفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية للذكاء الشعوري تبعا لمتغيرات الجنس (ذكور - إناث) والتخصص (علمي - إنساني) والنوع (ماجستير - دكتوراه). أما عينة البحث فقد تكونت من (300) طالب وطالبة اختبروا بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية من كليات جامعة تكريت وأقسامها وباستعمال الوسائل الإحصائية وتم التحقق من الصدق والتمييز والثبات باستخدام الوسائل الإحصائية الآتية (مربع كاي، معادلة ألفا كرونباخ، الاختبار التائي لعينة واحدة، اختبار التائي لعينتين مستقلتين، التحليل التباين)، وبعد معالجة البيانات إحصائيا، باستخدام الحقيبة الإحصائية SPSS، أظهرت النتائج التالي: 1) يمتع طلبة الدراسات العليا بمستوى مرتفع من الذكاء الشعوري. 2) عدم وجود فروق ذات الدلالة إحصائية على مقياس الذكاء الشعوري تبعا لمتغيرات (الجنس - التخصص - نوع الدراسة). وفي ضوء نتائج البحث، توصلت الباحثة إلى عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات. The research aimed to identify the level of emotional intelligence among postgraduate students, and the statistically significant differences of emotional intelligence according to the variables of gender (male - female), specialization (scientific - human) and gender (Master's - PhD). In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher prepared a scale for measuring emotional intelligence. The scale consists of (42) paragraphs in the final form, and each paragraph has five alternatives (it always applies to me - often applies to me - sometimes applies to me - rarely applies to me - does not apply me never). As for the research sample, it consisted of (300) male and female students who were tested in a stratified random way from the faculties and departments of Tikrit University, using statistical methods. The validity, discrimination, and stability were verified using the following statistical methods (chi square, Vakronbach equation, t-test for one sample, t-test for two independent samples, analysis of variance). After processing the data statistically, the following results appeared: 1) Postgraduate students have a high level of emotional intelligence. 2) There are no statistically significant differences on the emotional scale according to the variables of sex, specialization and major.
