يهدف البحث التعرف على: 1) خداع الذات لدى طلاب الجامعة. 2) الصحة النفسية لدى طلاب الجامعة. 3) العلاقة الارتباطية بين خداع الذات والصحة النفسية لدى طلاب الجامعة. تحدد البحث بطلبة الجامعة المستنصرية الذكور المنضمين في الدراسة الصباحية للعام الدراسي (2021-2022)، وتحقيقا لذلك قامت الباحثة بتبني مقياس (الجميلي، 2010) لقياس متغير خداع الذات لدى طلاب الجامعة، الذي تم بناءه وفق الاتجاه المعرفي وحسب نظرية فستنكر، كما قامت الباحثة بتبني مقياس (طيايبة، 2019) لقياس متغير الصحة النفسية لدى طلاب الجامعة، والذي يتألف من (15) فقرة، وتم التحقق من صدق المقياسين عن طريق عرضهما على مجموعة من الخبراء والمحكمين، كما تم التحقق من الثبات للمقاييس بطريقتين هما: الاختبار وإعادة الاختبار، وطريقة ألفا كرونباخ، ثم طبق المقياسين على عينة البحث الأساسية البالغة (200) طالب، ثم حللت البيانات باستعمال البرنامج الإحصائي للعلوم الإنسانية (Spss). توصل البحث إلى جملة من النتائج، ووضعت الباحثة مجموعة من المقترحات والتوصيات. This research aims to identify: 1) Self-deception among university students. 2) Mental health among university students. 3) The correlation between self-deception and mental health among university students. The research was determined by the male students of Al-Mustansiriya University who are enrolled in the morning study for the academic year (2021-2022). The scale of (Tayyiba, 2019) to measure the mental health variable among university students, which consists of (15) items. The validity of the two scales was verified by presenting them to a group of experts and arbitrators. The stability of the two scales was also verified by two methods: test and retest, and the method of Cronbach's Alpha, then the two measures were applied to the basic research sample of (200) students. Then the data was analyzed using the statistical program for human sciences (Spss), and the research reached a number of results, and the researcher put a set of recommendations and proposals.
