يهدف البحث التعرف على مستوى التفكير التحليلي لدى طلاب الصف الرابع العلمي وعلاقته بتحصيلهم في مادة الرياضيات. تكونت عينة البحث من (178) طالبا من طلاب الصف الرابع العلمي للعام الدراسي (2022-2023م)، تم اختيارهم عشوائيا من طلاب إعدادية الصديق للبنين في مدينة الموصل. ولتحقيق هدف البحث أعد الباحث اختبارين: الأول، اختبار التفكير التحليلي تكون بصيغته النهائية من (20) فقرة ثلاثية البدائل. والثاني، اختبار تحصيلي تكون من (10) فقرات شبه مقالية. وبعد تحقق الباحث من صدقهما وثباتهما، طبق الاختبارين على أفراد عينة البحث، وبعد جمع البيانات وتحليلها إحصائيا، توصل إلى النتائج التالية: 1) مستوى التفكير التحليلي لدى طلاب الصف الرابع العلمي فوق المتوسط الفرضي. 2) مستوى تحصيل مادة الرياضيات لدى طلاب الصف الرابع العلمي فوق المتوسط الفرضي. 3) وجود فرق دال إحصائيا في كل من التفكير التحليلي وتحصيل مادة الرياضيات لدى أفراد عينة البحث بين المتوسط المتحقق والمتوسط الفرضي ولصالح المتوسط المتحقق. 4) توجد علاقة ارتباطية موجبة ودالة إحصائيا بين التفكير التحليلي وتحصيل مادة الرياضيات. وفي ضوء نتائج البحث، خرج الباحث بعدد من التوصيات منها: توجيه مدرسي مادة الرياضيات في المرحلة الإعدادية إلى اعتماد الأساليب والطرائق التدريسية الحديثة التي تنمي التفكير بصورة عامة، والتفكير التحليلي بصورة خاصة؛ لرفع مستواهم التحصيلي، والذي سينعكس على رفع مستواهم في باقي المواد العلمية، واستكمالا للبحث الحالي وضع الباحث مقترحات لبحوث مستقبلية. This research aimed to identify the level of analytical thinking among the students of the fourth scientific grade and its relationship to their achievement in mathematics. The research sample consisted of (178) students from the fourth scientific grade for the academic year (2022-2023 AD), who were selected from the students of Al-Siddiq Preparatory School for Boys in the city of Mosul, To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher prepared two tests: the first is the analytical thinking test, which consisted in its final form of (20) four-alternative items, and the second was an achievement test that consisted of (10) semi-essay items. After collecting the data and analyzing it statistically, the following results were reached: 1) The level of analytical thinking among fourth-grade students is above the hypothetical average. 2) The level of mathematics achievement among fourth grade students is above the hypothetical average. 3) There is a statistically significant difference in both analytical thinking and mathematics achievement among the research sample individuals between the achieved average and the hypothetical average, in favor of the achieved average. 4) There is a positive, strong and statistically significant correlation between analytical thinking and mathematics achievement. In the light of the results of the research, the researcher came out with a number of recommendations, including: Directing teachers of mathematical mathematics in the preparatory stage to adopt modern teaching methods and methods that develop thinking in general, and analytical thinking in particular, to raise their level of achievement, which will be reflected in raising their level in the rest of the scientific subjects, and as a complement For This research, the researcher made proposals for future.
