يهدف البحث إلى معرفة فاعلية برنامج قائم على استراتيجية الألعاب التعليمية لتنمية مهارات التفكير الهندسي لدى تلاميذ الصف الخامس الابتدائي، إذ استخدمت الباحثة التصميم التجريبي ذات المجموعتين المتكافئتين إحداهما تجريبية والأخرى ضابطة. بلغ حجم عينة البحث (56) تلميذة، أجرت الباحثة التكافؤ بين مجموعتي البحث في عدد من المتغيرات، ولتحقيق هدف البحث تبنت الباحثة اختبار (خلف الله، 2013) لمهارات التفكير الهندسي، وتحققت من صدقه وتميزه وثباته، وبعد معالجة البيانات إحصائيا باستخدام الاختبار التائي (T-Test) لعينتين مستقلتين، أظهرت النتائج عن وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى (05‚0) بين المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في اختبار مهارات التفكير الهندسي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، ومن أهم توصيات البحث: الاهتمام بتقدم مفاهيم التفكير الهندسي وعدم إغفالها كأحد أهم المتغيرات الواجب مراعاتها في بناء المناهج، ومن مقترحات البحث استخدام استراتيجيات أخرى لتنمية مهارات التفكير الهندسي على مراحل دراسية أخرى. This research aims to know the effectiveness of a program based on the strategy of educational games to develop the engineering thinking skills of the fifth-grade primary students. The researcher used the experimental design with two equal groups, one experimental and the other a controlled one. In order to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher adopted a test (Khalaf Allah, 2013) for engineering thinking skills. The researcher verified its validity, distinction and stability, and after processing the data statistically using the t-test for two independent samples. The results showed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the experimental and control groups in testing engineering thinking skills in favor of the experimental group. In building curricula, and among the research proposals is the use of other strategies to develop engineering thinking skills in other academic stages. (Published abstract)
