هدفت الدراسة إلى استقصاء التحديات والحلول تجاه التعليم الشامل للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في مدارس التعليم العام بالمرحلة الابتدائية. حيث عمدت الباحثة إلى مراجعة أدبيات البحث العلمي في التربية الخاصة حول موضوع الدراسة. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن التحديات التي تواجه التعليم الشامل للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة تمثلت ست تحديات رئيسية فمنها ما يتعلق بالبنية التحتية، قصور في تدريب وتأهيل المعلمين، قصور المناهج الدراسية، قصور في التواصل بين أعضاء فريق التعليم الشامل، مشكلات تتعلق بعملية الكشف والتشخيص للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، وقصور في استخدام طرق التدريس المناسبة لذوي الإعاقة. كما أظهرت الدراسة بعضا من الحلول والتي تمثلت في ضرورة تيسير الوصول للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة وذلك من خلال تهيئة المباني وتأهيل المعلمين والطلاب، وتكييف المناهج بما يتوافق مع الفروق الفردية للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة وأخيرا، استخدام طرق تدريس مبينة على الأدلة والبراهين لتحسين تحصيلهم الأكاديمي. كما أوصت الباحثة ضرورة العمل على تطبيق الحلول المقترحة للحد من الآثار السلبية للتحديات التي تواجه الطلاب ذوي الإعاقة في بيئة التعليم الشامل والعمل على توعية المجتمع من طلاب وأولياء أمور ومعلمين على أهمية تكوين اتجاهات إيجابية تجاه دمج الطلاب ذوي الإعاقة في مدارس التعليم العام. This study aimed to investigate the challenges and solutions related to enabling people with disabilities to inclusive education at the elementary level. After reviewing previous scientific research literature in special education, the literature indicated several challenges that face inclusive education from implementation in general schools. There were represented six main challenges which included infrastructure, deficiencies in the training and qualification of teachers, deficiencies in the curricula, deficiencies in communication between members of the inclusive education team, problems related to the detection and diagnosis process for persons with disabilities, and failure to use appropriate teaching methods for people with disabilities. The study also showed some solutions to overcome the challenges, which were represented in the necessity of facilitating access for people with disabilities, through the preparation of buildings, professional development for teachers and students, the adaptation of curricula in accordance with the individual differences of people with disabilities, and finally, the use of teaching methods based on evidence-based practices to improve their academic achievement. The researcher also recommended the need to implement legislation and laws on the ground and enable people with disabilities to obtain the right to educational opportunities in at least restrictive environment.
