هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف أسباب عزوف طلاب مدارس الحلقة الثانية من التعليم ‏الأساسي بسلطنة عُمان عن الأنشطة المدرسية‏. تم الاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. تكونت العينة من (700) طالب وطالبة من الصفين الثامن والتاسع الأساسيين في مدارس الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسي التابعة لمحافظة الداخلية بسلطنة عمان، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية الطبقية. تمثلت أداة الدراسة في الاستبانة (إعداد الباحث)، والتي تكونت من خمسة محاور، وبلغ عدد فقراتها (40) فقرة .توصلت الدراسة بأن الأسباب التي تتعلق بقائد النشاط المدرسي جاءت في المرتبة الأولى في أسباب عزوف الطلبة عن المشاركة في الأنشطة المدرسية، وفي المرتبة الثانية الأسباب التي تتعلق بالأسرة، يليها الأسباب التي تتعلق بنوعية الأنشطة المدرسة، ثم الأسباب التي تتعلق بشخصية الطالب وفي المرتبة الأخيرة الأسباب التي تتعلق بالرفاق، وأن تلك الأسباب جاءت بدرجة كبيرة.من أهم التوصيات: ضرورة الاهتمام بالحد من الأسباب التي اتفق عليها أفراد عينة الدراسة، والتي تؤدي إلى عزوف الطلاب عن المشاركة في الأنشطة المدرسية، والتركيز على الأنشطة المدرسية المفيدة بالدرجة الأولى، والتي تناسب بيئة الطالب العماني من جهة، وحاجته إليها من جهة أخرى؛ وتكون محفزة له ومثيرة في نفس الوقت. The study aims to identify the reasons for the reluctance of primary school students in the second level of basic education in the Sultanate of Oman from the School activities, The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach. The study sample consisting of (700) male and female students from 8th and 9th grade of the second level of basic education schools that affiliated to the Governorate of the Interior in the Sultanate of Oman were chosen by the stratified random method. A questionnaire consisting of (5) axes, divided into (40) paragraphs was built by researcher. The study reached results that the reasons relates to the leader of the school activity came first in the reasons for students ’reluctance to participate in school activities, secondly the reasons that relates to the family, followed by the reasons that relates to the quality of school activities, then the reasons that relates to the student’s personality and in the last place the reasons relates to comrades, and that those reasons takes a large place. Study recommendations: The necessity of paying attention to removing the obstacles agreed upon by the members of the study sample, which lead to students not participating in school activities. Focusing on primarily beneficial school activities that are appropriate to the needs of the Omani student on the one hand, and their need on the other hand; and be stimulating to him and exciting at the same time.
