هدف البحث إلى تطوير منهج العلوم بالمرحلة الإعدادية المهنية للمعاقين سمعيا في ضوء نظرية معالجة المعلومات، وتم إجراء دراسة تقويمية لمناهج العلوم بالمرحلة الإعدادية في ضوء قائمة معايير تقويم الأهداف والمحتوى ومقابلة مع معلمات العلوم للصم ومحك لتقييم الاختبارات التحصيلية، وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة التقويمية تم إعداد تصور مقترح، وإعداد وحدة مطورة في ضوء نظرية معالجة المعلومات؛ حيث تم إعداد دليل المعلم، وكتاب للتلميذ، وكراسة نشاط للتلميذ، وتحديد فاعلية الوحدة المطورة على تحصيل التلاميذ من خلال اختبار تحصيلي. وتوصل البحث إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا عند مستوى دلالة 0.01 لصالح التطبيق البعدي مما يدل على فعالية المنهج المطور في تنمية التحصيل. The aim of this research is to develop the science curriculum in the professional preparatory stage for the hearing-impaired in light of the theory of information processing, the evaluative study had been hold according to list of criteria for objectives and content, list of criteria for the tests and meeting with science teachers. In light of the results of the evaluation study, a proposed concept was prepared, and a developed unit was prepared in light of the theory of information processing; Where a guide for the teacher, a book for the student, and an activity brochure for the student were prepared, and the effectiveness of the developed unit on student achievement was determined through an achievement test. The research found statistically significant differences at a significance level of 0.01 in favor of the post application, which indicates the effect of the developed approach on the development of achievement.
