استهدفت الدراسة تعرف واقع دور المدارس الابتدائية في تفعيل التربية الأخلاقية، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها أن تتبنى الخطط والسياسات التربوية إدراج مبادئ وأساليب التربية الأخلاقية ضمن المناهج والمقررات الدراسية ابتداء من هذه المرحلة، أن يتم وضع برامج تدريبية لمعلمين هذه المرحلة في فن ومهارة التعامل الأخلاقي مع تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية من قبل الإدارات التعليمية، أن تتبنى البرامج والأنشطة المدرسية غرس مبادئ وأساليب التربية الأخلاقية لدى التلاميذ، أن تحرص الإدارات المدرسية على التوعية المستمرة للتلاميذ وتدعيم وتحفيز السلوكيات الإيجابية، أن يتم إدراج مادة التربية الدينية ضمن المقررات الأساسية التي تضاف إلى المجموع.
