هدفت الدراسة التعرف على دور التعليم الجامعي في تعزيز قيم الوسطية والاعتدال ونبذ الكراهية والإقصاء بين الطلاب. استخدمت المنهج الوصفي، واعتمدت على الاستبانة في جمع البيانات، وطبقت الدراسة على عينة بلغت (834) طالبا وطالبة موزعين وفق متغيرات النوع والكلية والفرقة الدراسية. أشارت النتائج إلى أن دور الإدارة الجامعة في تعزيز قيم الوسطية والاعتدال ونبذ الكراهية والإقصاء بين الطلاب جاء بدرجة مرتفعة، وأن دور أعضاء هيئة التدريس في تعزيز قيم الوسطية والاعتدال ونبذ الكراهية والإقصاء بين الطلاب جاء بدرجة مرتفعة، وأن المحتويات الدراسية في تعزيز قيم الوسطية والاعتدال ونبذ الكراهية والإقصاء بين الطلاب جاء بدرجة مرتفعة، وأن دور الأنشطة الطلابية في تعزيز قيم الوسطية والاعتدال ونبذ الكراهية والإقصاء بين الطلاب جاء بدرجة متوسطة، وأنه لا توجد فروق في استجابات عينة الدراسة تعزى لمتغير النوع بينما توجد فروق تعزى لمتغير الكلية لصالح كلية الدراسات الإسلامية، وكذلك توجد فروق تعزى لمتغير الفرقة الدراسية لصالح الفرقة الرابعة. This study aimed to identify the role of university education in promoting the values of moderation and rejecting hatred and exclusion among students. The study made use of the descriptive method and developed a questionnaire to collect the study data. The study was administered to a sample consisting of (834) male and female students assigned according to the variables of gender, faculty and year group. The results of the study indicated that the role of the university administration in promoting the values of moderation and rejecting hatred and exclusion among students was of a high degree; the role of faculty members in promoting the values of moderation and rejecting hatred and exclusion among students was of a high degree; and the academic contents role in promoting the values of moderation and moderation and rejection of hatred and exclusion among students was of a high degree. The results also revealed that the role of student activities in promoting the values of moderation and rejecting hatred and exclusion among students was medium. Furthermore, there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample due to the gender variable while there were differences attributed to the college variable in favor of the College of Islamic Studies, as well as there were differences that might be attributed to the year variable in favor of the fourth year.
