هدفت الدراسة إلى دراسة العلاقات الارتباطية السببية بين الجنس والتأجيل الأكاديمي والقلق الإحصائي وكفاءة الذات الإحصائية في مقرر الإحصاء باستخدام نموذج المعادلة البنائية. تكونت العينة من (156) من طلاب الجامعة بكالوريوس 76 (48.7%) ودراسات عليا 80 (50.3%) دارسي مقرر الإحصاء في بعض الجامعات السعودية (جامعة الملك خالد، الملك عبد العزيز، حفر الباطن، وغيرها)، وتنوعت إلى 89 (57.1%) طلاب ذكور و67 (42.9%) إناث، وتم تطبيق مقاييس التأجيل الأكاديمي والقلق الإحصائي وكفاءة الذات الإحصائية من خلال لينك إلكتروني، وحللت البيانات باستخدام برنامجي SPSS (26) وMPLUS (7). توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود تأثير مباشر موجب دال إحصائيا من القلق الإحصائي على التأجيل الأكاديمي، وتأثير مباشر سالب ودال إحصائيا من كفاءة الذات الإحصائية على كلا من التلكؤ الأكاديمي والقلق الإحصائي، وتأثير مباشر سالب من الجنس على التأجيل الأكاديمي، ويمكن الاستفادة من النتائج في إعداد برامج وندوات توعية لخفض القلق الإحصائي وزيادة كفاءة الذات الإحصائية لتقليل التأجيل الأكاديمي بين طلاب الجامعة خاصة في مقرر الإحصاء. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relations between sex, academic procrastination, and anxiety toward statistics, and statistical self-efficacy in statistics course by using the structural equation model. The sample consisted of 156 undergraduate 76 (48.7%) and graduate 80 (50.3%) students who enrolled in some Saudi universities (king Khaled, king Abd- elaziz, hafr elbatan), sex, male 89) (57.1%) and female 67 (42.9%). Students responded to scales assessing their levels of (a) academic procrastination, (b) anxiety toward statistics, and (c). Statistical self-efficacy. Data were analyzed using SPSS (26) and MPLUS (7). In general, the results showed that statistical self-efficacy has a negative direct effect on academic procrastination and anxiety toward statistics, anxiety toward statistics has a positive direct effect on academic procrastination, and sex has negative effect on academic procrastination. There is no indirect effect from statistical self-efficacy on academic procrastination through anxiety toward statistics. Knowledge about the role of statistical self- efficacy and anxiety toward statistics with academic procrastination may assist college counselors to develop interventions for students that suffer from delaying academic behaviors on statistics course that negatively affect academic success.
