هدف البحث إلى التعرف على مدى تضمين كتاب الرياضيات للصف الرابع الابتدائي لمتطلبات دراسة التوجهات الدولية للرياضيات والعلوم (TIMSS)، ولتحقيق هدف البحث استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي (التحليلي)، حيث قام ببناء قائمة بمتطلبات دراسة (TIMSS) ومن خلالها صمم أداة تحليل المحتوى، وتكون مجتمع البحث من كتاب الرياضيات للصف الرابع الابتدائي بجزأيه الأول والثاني. ومن أهم ما توصلت إليه نتائج البحث: عدم تحقيق كتاب الرياضيات للصف الرابع الابتدائي في المرحلة الابتدائية للنسب المحددة لمتطلبات دراسة التوجهات الدولية للرياضيات والعلوم (TIMSS 2019) في مجال المحتوى ومجال العمليات المعرفية، وتضمين مجال العدد بنسبة كبيرة في كتب الرياضيات للصف الرابع الابتدائي، وقصور في تضمين مجال الأشكال الهندسية والقياس ومجال عرض البيانات في كتب الرياضيات للصف الرابع الابتدائي، وتضمين مستوى المعرفة بنسبة كبيرة في كتب الرياضيات للصف الرابع الابتدائي، وقصور في تضمين مستوى التطبيق ومستوى الاستدلال في كتب الرياضيات للصف الرابع الابتدائي. The aim of the research is to identify the extent to which the mathematics book for the fourth grade of primary school includes the requirements for studying the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS), and to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher used the descriptive (analytical) approach, where he built a list of the requirements of the study (TIMSS) and through it he designed a content analysis tool, and the research community included the mathematics book for the fourth grade of primary in its first and second parts. The following are the most important findings of the research: the mathematics textbook for the fourth grade of primary school did not achieve the percentages specified for the requirements of the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS 2019) study in the field of content and the field of cognitive processes, Including the number field in a large percentage in the mathematics books for the fourth grade of primary school, Shortcomings in including the field of geometric shapes and measurements and the field of data presentation in mathematics books for the fourth grade of primary school, including the level of knowledge in a large percentage in the mathematics books of the fourth grade of primary school, deficits in including the level of application and the level of inference in mathematics books for the fourth grade of primary school.
