تهدف الدراسة إلى بحث أثر امتحانات الكتاب المفتوح على عادات التعلم لدى طلبة الجامعة. وتم جمع البيانات من (408) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة كلية التربية بجامعة تعز، هؤلاء الطلبة ينتمون إلى كل من قسم الكيمياء والبيولوجي واللغة الإنجليزية. وكانت أداة الدراسة عبارة عن استبيان تم استخدامه لتحديد ما إذا كان الطلبة يفضلون امتحانات الكتاب المفتوح وكذلك لمعرفة أسباب ذلك التفضيل. وأظهرت النتائج أن نسبة كبيرة من المشاركين يفضلون امتحانات الكتاب المفتوح بالرغم من تعودهم على اختبارات الكتاب المغلق، هؤلاء الطلبة يعتقدون أن امتحانات الكتاب المفتوح تستهلك وقتا أقل عند الإعداد. كما بينت الدراسة الدور الذي يمكن أن تعلبه امتحانات الكتاب المفتوح في تغيير اتجاهات التعلم لدى الطلبة، وكذلك جعل عملية التعلم أكثر فاعلية. The study aims to investigate the impact of open book exams on the learning habits of university students. Data were collected from (408) male and female students from the Faculty of Education at Taiz University. Students belong to the Departments of Chemistry, Biology and English. The study tool was a questionnaire that was used to determine whether students prefer open book exams and to find out the reasons for that preference. The results have showed that a large percentage of the participants preferred the open book exams, although they are used to the closed book exams. Students believe that open book exams take less time to prepare. The study also has showed the role that open book exams can play in changing students' learning attitudes, as well as making the learning process more effective. (Published abstract)
