The study aimed to identify the role of colleges of education in achieving intellectual security among university youth from the point of view of students of the College of Basic Education. The importance of the study was represented in the importance of intellectual security, as it comes at the top of the pyramid of students’ security needs and is considered the basic foundation of security in its comprehensive sense and an important requirement for societies to advance and develop. Category age of the study. The study relied on the descriptive approach, and a questionnaire tool was used in this study. The study sample consisted of 400 male and female students. The study found that there were statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (0.05) or less in the answers of the study sample members about.. The questionnaire (the role of colleges of education in achieving intellectual security for their students) as a whole and on the first axis and the second axis according to the gender variable was in favor of males, and there were statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (0.05) or less in the answers of the study sample members regarding the second axis depending on the specialization variable, in favor of the specializations. There are no statistically significant differences in the answers of the study sample members to the questionnaire (the role of colleges of education in achieving intellectual security for their students) as a whole and all axes according to the variable of the marital status of the parents, the variable of age group, the variable of the financial condition of the family, the variable of place of residence, and the variable of the educational status of the family, and the presence of significant differences. Statistics in the answers of the study sample members to the questionnaire (the role of colleges of education in achieving intellectual security for their students) and the second axis, the third axis and the fourth axis according to the academic year variable in favor of the fourth year, except for the fourth axis which was in favor of the first year. The study recommended introducing a course for intellectual security in the curricula for college students. Education, and the family’s fulfillment of its duties and responsibilities in education in general, and in intellectual security in particular, as it is the basic educational institution in society Between the generation of parents and the generation of children, and a return to adherence to moral values.
