This study aimed to investigate the role of educational leadership in managing the learning and distance learning process ،and the study followed the qualitative research methodology ،according to the rooted theory, and to achieve this ،the interview questions were prepared and included one main question, after making sure of their validity and consistency, and (10) managers and directors participated in the study. Governmental schools belonging to the Directorate of the Kasbah of Amman. ،The results of the study showed that the educational leader's role in managing the learning and distance learning process includes several areas ،which are as follows: The administrative field got the highest rate of 27.8%, the technical field got the rate of 21.6%, the technical field got the rate of 18.5%, and the motivational field got The rate of 10.5%, the media and promotional field received a rate of 9.9%, the political field received a rate of 5.5%, the complementary field and financial support received a rate of 3.7%, and the participatory and societal field received a rate of 2.5%. On the other hand ،some recommendations were suggested ،the most important of which are: Implementing distance learning in a manner that takes into account the diversity of each society to ensure that all learners have fair educational opportunities, qualifying the human cadre (administrative and educational bodies and learners) with modern technologies ،engaging educational leaders in the field in developing strategic plans. With regard to the distance learning process, the application of distance learning in some fully equipped schools as an experimental sample ،the subject teacher is responsible for giving his students the lessons remotely because the teacher is more familiar with the student, the development of a special distance learning system in each school, increasing awareness of Educational leaders on the importance of paying attention to the participatory societal field, raising awareness among educational leaders of the importance of paying attention to the moral and motivational field, Increasing awareness among educational leaders of the importance of financial and integrative support for other schools, according to the available capabilities.
