The level of public primary school principals in Riyadh’s practice of the servant leadership style from the teachers’ point of view in light of a number of variables [Article]
This study aimed to identify the level of practice of servant leadership style by government primary school principals in Riyadh from the teachers' point of view in the light of a number of variables. The study followed the descriptive survey method for its relevance for the purposes of this study. The study population consisted of all male and female teachers in government primary schools in Riyadh, for the academic year (2021-2022), where the total study population amounted to (20431) male and female teachers, distributed over (969) schools for boys and girls. A total of (12422) male and (8009) female teachers were monitored through the statistical card of the schools affiliated to the General Administration of Education in Riyadh for the year (1441), and the representative sample was selected in a stratified random manner from the total population of (303) male and female teachers. To achieve the objectives of the study; A questionnaire was developed consisting of (28) items distributed into four domains: The first domain: Empowerment, and it included (6) items. The second field: altruism, and it included (8) paragraphs. As for the third field: love, it included (7) paragraphs. The fourth area: humility, and it included (7) paragraphs. The results of the study showed that the level of public primary school principals in Riyadh practice of the servant leadership style from the teachers' point of view was high in all fields. The results did not show a statistically significant difference in the level of practice of servant leadership style by government primary school principals in Riyadh from the teachers' point of view due to the variables of gender and educational qualification. In light of the results of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: Continuously emphasizing the use of the servant leadership style in government primary schools in Riyadh.
