استهدف هذا البحث قياس أثر استخدام إستراتيجية الأبعاد السداسية (PDEODE) في تدريس علم النفس على تنمية بعض مهارات التفكير عالي الرتبة لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم إعداد أداة البحث وهي اختبار التفكير عالي الرتبة، وقد تكونت مجموعة البحث من عدد (60) طالبة من طالبات المرحلة الثانوية بمدرسة نجيب محفوظ الثانوية بنات بمدينة الخارجة بمحافظة الوادي الجديد، تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين تجريبية ويبلغ عددها (30) طالبة درست موضوعات وحدتي علم النفس باستخدام إستراتيجية الأبعاد السداسية (PDEODE)، وأخرى ضابطة ويبلغ عددها (30) طالبة درست نفس الموضوعات بالطريقة المعتادة دون أية معالجات تجريبية، وقد اعتمد البحث على المنهج شبة التجريبي. This research aimed to measure the effect of using the Six-Dimension Strategy (PDEODE) in teaching psychology on developing some higher-order thinking skills among secondary school students, and to achieve this goal the research tool was prepared, which is the higher-order thinking test, and the research group consisted Of (60) Secondary school students from Naguib Mahfouz Secondary School for Girls in Kharga City, New Valley Governorate, they were divided into two experimental groups of (30) students who studied the topics of the two psychology units using the Six Dimension Strategy (PDEODE), and another control group (30) A female student studied the same topics in the usual way without any experimental treatments. The research was based on the semi-experimental method. The results of the research showed: 1) There were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post application of the test of high-order thinking skills in favor of the experimental group. 2) There are statistically significant differences between the scores of students of the experimental group in the pre and post applications for testing high- order thinking skills.
