هدف البحث التعرف على مستوى الشعور بالوحدة النفسية لدى الطلبة الوافدين بجامعة المجمعة، وعلاقته ببعض المتغيرات الديمغرافية. تكونت العينة من (377) طالبا وطالبة، من طلبة البكالوريوس، منهم (192) طالبا، و(145) طالبة، في الفصل الدراسي الأول للعام 2018-2019. تم استخدام مقياس راسل (Russel,1980) لقياس مستوى الشعور بالوحدة النفسية لدى الطلاب الوافدين. وأظهرت النتائج الآتي: 1) أن مستوى الشعور بالوحدة النفسية لدى الطلاب الوافدين كان منخفضا. 2) عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الشعور بالوحدة النفسية لدى الطلاب الوافدين تبعا لمتغير النوع. 3) عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الشعور بالوحدة النفسية لدى الطلاب الوافدين تبعا لمتغير نوع السكن (مع الأسرة، مع الأصدقاء). 4) وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الشعور بالوحدة لدى الطلبة الوافدين تعزى لمتغير العمر، ولصالح فئة الطلبة ممن تراوحت أعمارهم أقل من 20 سنة. The purpose of the study was to investigate the level of psychological loneliness among foreign students in Al-Majmaah University and its relationship to some demographic variables. The sample of the study consisted of (337) male and female students, at bachelor’s degree, of whom (192) males and (145) females, in the first semester of the academic year 2018-2019. To achieve this aim, Russel (1980) scale was administrated to measure the level of psychological loneliness among foreign students. The findings of the study showed that the level of psychological loneliness among foreign students was low. Moreover, there are no significant statistical differences in the level of psychological loneliness among foreign students according to gender, also there are no significant statistical differences in the level of psychological loneliness among foreign students according to residence place (with family, with friends). While there are significant statistical differences in the level of psychological loneliness among foreign students according to age in favor of students under 20 years of age. (Published abstract)
