يهدف البحث معرفة أثر إستراتيجية مقترحة وفق أنموذج (Heisig and Verbeck ) في تحصيل الرياضيات والتفكير الهندسي لدى طالبات الصف الخامس الأحيائي. ولتحقيق هدف البحث، اعتمد الباحث التصميم التجريبي ذا المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة ذات الإختبار البعدي. وبناء على ذلك وضعت الفرضيتان الصفريتان الآتيتان: 1) لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) بين متوسط درجات طالبات المجموعة التجريبية اللآتي درسن وفق إستراتيجية مقترحة وفق نموذج (Heisig and Verbeck) وطالبات المجموعة الضابطة اللآتي درسن وفق الطريقة الإعتيادية في إختبار التحصيل الدراسي. 2) لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) بين متوسط درجات طالبات المجموعة التجريبية اللآتي درسن وفق استراتيجية مقترحة وفق نموذج (Heisig and Verbeck) وطالبات المجموعة الضابطة اللآتي درسن وفق الطريقة الاعتيادية في اختبار التفكير الهندسي. تم تحديد مجتمع البحث والذي يمثل طالبات الخامس العلمي/ الأحيائي من مديرية تربية الكرخ الأولى، أُختيرت عينة البحث (57) طالبة تم إختيار بصورة عشوائية، وجزأت العينة إلى مجموعتين إحداهما تجريبية درست وفق الاستراتيجية المقترحة وفق نموذج (Heisig and Verbeck) والأخرى ضابطة درست وفق الطريقة الإعتيادية .أُجري التكافؤ بين مجموعتي البحث في العمر الزمني ومستوى الذكاء والتحصيل السابق. وبعدها تم بناء اختبار تحصيلي تكونت صيغته النهائية من (50) فقرة من النوع المقالي والمموضوعي، واختبار للتفكير الهندسي تكون بصيغته النهائية من (25) فقرة من النوع المقالي والمموضوعي. وبعد انتهاء التجربة تم تطبيق أدوات البحث، وحللت النتائج باستخدام معادلة الاختبار التائي (t-Test) لعينتين مستقلتين غيرمتساويتين. أشارت النتائج إلى تفوق طالبات المجموعة التجريبية اللآتي درسن وفق الإستراتيجية المقترحة وفق نموذج (Heisig and Verbeck) على طالبات المجموعة الضابطة اللآتي درسن وفق الطريقة الاعتيادية. The research aims to identify the impact of a proposed strategy according to the model of (Heisig and Verbeck) on the achievement of mathematics and engineering thinking among the fifth grade students in biology. The following two null-hypotheses were formulated: 1) There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group who studied according to a proposed strategy according to the model (Heisig and Verbeck) and the students of the control group who studied in the usual way in the academic achievement test. 2) There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group who studied according to a proposed strategy according to the model (Heisig and Verbeck) and the students of the control group who studied according to the usual method in the academic achievement test. The research community was determined to represent female students of the fifth scientific or biological class from the first Karkh Education Directorate. The research sample is (57) student was randomly selected, the sample was divided into two groups: an experimental group was studied according to the proposed strategy, the model of (Heisig and Verbeck) and a control group was studied according to the traditional way. Equivalence was conducted between the two research groups in terms of age, level of intelligence, and previous achievement. After that, an achievement test was built; its final form consisted of 50 items of the essay and objective type, and an engineering thinking test, in its final form, consisted of 25 items of the essay and topic type. After the end of the experiment, the research tools were applied, and the results were analyzed using the t-test equation for two independent, unequal samples. The results indicated that the students of the experimental group who studied according to the proposed strategy according to the Heisig and Verbeck model excelled over the students of the control group who studied according to the traditional method.
