يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على واقع الخدمات الانتقالية المقدمة لذوي الإعاقة الفكرية من وجهة نظر أولياء الأمور في مكة المكرمة. وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وقد استخدم الباحثان الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات. وتكونت عينة البحث من (110) من أولياء الأمور ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية. وأشارت النتائج إلى أن واقع الخدمات الانتقالية المقدمة ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية جاء بدرجة متوسطة، وبمتوسط حسابي (3.37). وجاء بعد (المهارات الحياتية اليومية) بالمرتبة الأولى، بمتوسط حسابي (3.71) بدرجة مرتفعة، وتلاه بعد (تحديات الخدمات الانتقالية) بمتوسط حسابي (3.65) بدرجة متوسطة، وتلاه بعد (التأهيل المهني) بمتوسط حسابي (3.04) بدرجة متوسطة. كذلك أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية (α=0.05) تعزى لمتغير صلة القرابة في جميع الأبعاد، والدرجة الكلية، لصالح صلة القرابة (أم). كما أشارت النتائج الى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية (α=0.05) تعزى لأثر المؤهل العلمي في جميع الأبعاد والدرجة الكلية. ويوصي الباحثان بضرورة نشر التوعية بين أفراد المجتمع وأولياء الأمور والعاملين مع الطلبة ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية بأهمية الخدمات الانتقالية لهؤلاء الطلبة. The research aims to identify the reality of transitional services provided to people with intellectual disabilities from the point of view of parents in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. The descriptive analytical method was used, and the researchers used the questionnaire as a tool for data collection. The research sample consisted of (110) parents with intellectual disabilities. The results indicated that the reality of the transitional services provided to people with intellectual disabilities came to a medium degree, with a mean of (3.37). It came after (Daily life skills) in the first place, with a mean of (3.71) with a high degree, followed by (challenges of transitional services) with a mean of (3.65) with a medium degree, and it was followed by after (vocational rehabilitation) with a mean of (3.04) with a medium degree. The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) attributed to the kinship variable in all dimensions, and the total degree, in favor of kinship (mother). The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) due to the effect of the educational qualification in all dimensions and the total degree. The researchers recommend the need to spread awareness among members of society, parents and workers with students with intellectual disabilities about the importance of transitional services for these students.
