هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن واقع برامج التدريب المهني في تحقيق تميز الأداء الأكاديمي لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعات السعودية، تحديد متطلبات نجاح برامج التدريب المهني في تحقيق تميز الأداء الأكاديمي لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعات السعودية، والتعرف على معوقات التحاق أعضاء هيئة التدريس ببرامج التدريب المهني في الجامعات السعودية. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واعتمدت على الاستبيان كأداة للبحث، وطبق البحث على عينة بلغ عددها (324) من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة الأمير سطام بن عبد العزيز، وتوصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها إن واقع برامج التدريب المهني في تحقيق تميز الأداء الأكاديمي لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعات السعودية جاء بدرجة متوسطة حيث بلغ المتوسط الحسابي (2.80) وجاءت متطلبات نجاح برامج التدريب المهني في تحقيق تميز الأداء الأكاديمي لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعات السعودية بمستوى متوسط حيث جاء بمتوسط (3.21)، جاءت معوقات التحاق أعضاء هيئة التدريس في برامج التدريب المهني بمستوى مرتفع حيث جاء بمتوسط (3.55). وقد أوصى البحث بضرورة إجراء المزيد من الدراسات حول قياس أثر البرامج التدريبية وعلاقته بالنمو المهني لأعضاء هيئة التدريس، وضرورة أخذ إجراءات تنفيذية للحد من المعوقات التي تحول من الاستفادة القصوى من برامج التدريب المهني لأعضاء هيئة التدريس، وأن تسعى الجامعة في توفير متطلبات نجاح برامج التدريب المهني، وذلك من خلال الوقوف على الاحتياجات التدريبية والأدوات المناسبة لذلك. The aim of the research is to determine the reality of vocational training programs in achieving excellence in academic performance among faculty members in Saudi universities, determine the requirements for the success of vocational training programs in achieving excellence in academic performance among faculty members in Saudi universities, and identify the obstacles to achieving vocational training programs excellence in academic performance. Among faculty members in Saudi universities. The study used the descriptive approach and relied on the questionnaire as a research tool. The research was applied to a sample (324) of faculty members at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. The research reached a set of results, the most important of which is the reality of vocational training programs in achieving excellence in academic performance among faculty members in Saudi universities at an average level, with an average of (2.80) and a standard deviation of (1.301), and the requirements for the success of vocational training programs in achieving excellence in academic performance among Faculty members in Saudi universities were at an average level, with a mean of (3.21) and a standard deviation of (0.816). Obstacles to faculty members’ enrollment in vocational training programs were at a high level, with a mean of (3.55) and a standard deviation of (0.757). The research recommended the need to conduct more studies on measuring the impact of training programs and its relationship to the professional growth of faculty members, and the need to take executive measures to reduce the obstacles that prevent the maximum benefit from professional training programs for faculty members, and that the university strive to provide the requirements for the success of training programs.
