يهدف البحث إلى: 1) تعرف التعاطف لدى طلبة الجامعة. 2) تعرف هل هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في التعاطف لدى طلبة الجامعة وفقا لمتغيرات (الجنس، التخصص). وتحقيقا لأهداف البحث قامت الباحثة بإعداد مقياس التعاطف، وتحققت الباحثة من الخصائص القياسية لأدوات البحث بوساطة تطبيقها إلكترونيا على عينة مكونة من (450) طالبا وطالبة اختيروا بالطريقة العشوائية نظرا لظروف جائحة كورونا. وبعد تطبيق أدوات البحث وتحليل البيانات، توصلت الباحثة إلى النتائج الآتية: 1) إن عينة البحث لديهم تعاطف. 2) يوجد فرق دال إحصائيا لدى عينة البحث في التعاطف على وفق الجنس (ذكور، إناث) ولصالح الإناث ولا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا في التعاطف لدى عينة البحث في التخصص (علمي، إنساني) والتفاعل بين الجنس (ذكور، إناث) والتخصص (علمي، إنساني). This study aims to identify the empathy of University Students, as well as the significant differences in sympathy in terms of gender and specialization. To achieve the aims of the study, a scale of empathy was administered to a sample of (450) students collected randomly from Baghdad university. The results showed that the study sample has a level of empathy: 1) There is a significant difference between males and females in empathy, in favor of the female students. 2) There is no significant difference in empathy in terms of specialization (scientific, humanities), and the interaction between males and females. The study came out with a number of recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
