هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع ممارسة القيادة الخادمة لدى رؤساء الأقسام في كلية التربية الأساسية بدولة الكويت وأثر بعض المتغيرات على ذلك، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (63) عضو هيئة تدريس في كلية التربية الأساسية، وتم جمع البيانات من خلال استبانة مكونة من (45) عبارة موزعة على سبعة مجالات. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن ممارسة القيادة الخادمة ككل لدى رؤساء الأقسام في كلية التربية الأساسية جاءت بدرجة كبيرة، وجاء في الترتيب الأول مجال المهارات المفاهيمية، يليه التصرف بأخلاق، ثم الالتزام بخدمة المجتمع، ثم الإيثار، ثم التمكن وجاءت جميعها بدرجة كبيرة، وجاء في الترتيب قبل الأخير الاهتمام بالمرؤوسين أولاً، وأخيراً مساعدة المرؤوسين على التطور والنجاح وجاء المجالان بدرجة متوسطة. وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول الدرجة الكلية للقيادة الخادمة والمجالات التالية (المهارات المفاهيمية، التصرف بأخلاق، التمكين، الاهتمام بالمرؤوسين أولاً، مساعدة المرؤوسين على التطور والنجاح، الالتزام بخدمة المجتمع) وفقاً لمتغير النوع، بينما لا توجد فروق حول الإيثار. وأشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق حول الدرجة الكلية للقيادة الخادمة وجميع المجالات وفقاً لمتغيري الخبرة والمسمى الوظيفي. The study aimed to identify the reality of the practice of servant leadership among the heads of departments in the College of Basic Education in the State of Kuwait, and the impact of some variables on that. Data collected through a questionnaire consisting of (45) phrases distributed over seven domains. The results showed that the practice of servant leadership as a whole among the heads of departments in the College of Basic Education is high, in the first rank came the domain of conceptual skills, followed by acting ethically, then commitment to community service, then altruism, then mastery, all of which came with a high degree, and in the penultimate order came caring for subordinates first, and finally helping subordinates to develop and succeed, The two domain came with Medium degree. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of the study sample about the total degree of servant leadership and the following domains (conceptual skills, ethical behavior, empowerment, caring for subordinates first, helping subordinates to develop and succeed, commitment to community service) due to gender variable, while there were no differences about altruism. The results indicated that There are differences about the total degree of servant leadership and all domains due to experience and job title variables. (Published abstract)
