هدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف إلى درجة ممارسة معلمي التاريخ لمهارات الخرائط التاريخية في مدارس مديرية التربية والتعليم للواء المزار الشمالي، الأردن. ولتحقيق هدف البحث قام الباحث بإعداد بطاقة ملاحظة إشتملت على (20) إجراء صفيا يقوم به المعلم من أجل تنمية مهارات الخرائط التاريخية. وقد تم التأكد من صدق بطاقة الملاحظة وثباتها، وتم تطبيق هذه البطاقة على عينة من معلمي التاريخ بلغ عددهم (54) معلما ومعلمة من مديرية التربية والتعليم للواء المزار الشمالي، وذلك من خلال إستخدام أسلوب الملاحظة المباشرة. وقد أظهرت نتائج البحث أنه يتم إستخدام ممارسة معلمي التاريخ لمهارات الخرائط التاريخية بدرجة متوسطة. كذلك تبين عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير الجنس والخبرة والمؤهل العلمي حول درجه الممارسة. وخلص الباحث إلى العديد من المقترحات أهمها عقد دورات تدريبية لمعلمي التاريخ يتم فيها التركيز على الجانب التطبيقي بالإضافة إلى الجانب النظري لتزويد المعلمين بالمهارات التي يمكن من خلالها تنمية مهارة الخرائط التاريخية. The aim of this research is to identify the degree of history teachers' skills of historical maps in the schools of the directorate of education for the Northern al-Mazar district, Jordan. To achieve the research goal, the researcher prepared a note card that included (20) classroom procedures by the teacher in order to develop historical mapping skills. The authenticity of the observation card has been verified and proven, and this card has been applied to a sample of (54) history teachers from the directorate of education for the Northern Al-mazar district, through the use of the direct observation method. The results of the research showed that the history teachers' practice of medium mapping skills is used to a moderate degree. Also, it was found that there were no statistically significant differences attributable to the variable of gender, experience and educational qualification around the degree of practice. The researcher concluded with several proposals, the most important of which are: holding training courses for history teachers in which the focus is on the applied side in addition to the theoretical side to provide teachers with the skills through which to develop the skill of historical maps.
