The target of this study is to detect the degree of practicing the servant leadership by the school principals in Zarqa governorate in Jordan. To achieve the study targets, the researcher used the analytical descriptive approach. The researcher depended on questionnaire as a tool for the study, that is, the researcher used a ready-made questionnaire done by Wolfe’s study (Wolfe, 2013), the questionnaire includes three main fields, which are related to the servant leadership, the three fields are: Altruism field, Modesty field, and empowerment field. The community of this study included all teachers in Zarqa governorate who are on duty during year 2018-2019. The sample of the study was chosen using available sample, it contained 20 teachers who work in the schools of Zarqa governorate, the study reached that the practice of all servant leadership fields, by the study sample, was high according to the reliance criterion, mainly, the degree of practicing Modesty field got the highest mark followed by the Altruism field then the empowerment field. The study recommends that there is a need to design activities and training course to provide the school principals with the needed information and skills to enhance their servant leadership practice. More to add, there is a need to reinforce the interaction and cooperation between teachers and principals by hand over certain authorities to teachers, let them feel of the important role they play in the teaching process.
