هدف البحث إلى التعرف على دور التعليم الإلكتروني في تطوير أداء المعلم وتحسين مخرجات تعلم الرياضيات في منطقة الجوف، وقد لوحظ عدم تفعيل التعليم الإلكتروني من قبل معلمات المنطقة وعدم وعيهن وإدراكهن لأهمية ودور هذا النوع من التعليم في تطوير أداءهن وتحسين مستوى الطالبات وبالتالي تحسين مخرجات التعلم للمنطقة. من هنا كان البد من العزم على تحقيق أهداف البحث والعمل على إيضاح أهمية تطبيق التعليم الإلكتروني في مادة الرياضيات من خلال نشر ثقافة تفعيله وكيفية استخدامه بالإضافة إلى توفير وتسهيل التطبيق بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة (التجهيزات المدرسية) كما تم عقد اختبار على عينة من المدارس وتصميم استبيان إلكتروني تم توزيعه على (120) معلمة تقدر بـــ %60 من معلمات الرياضيات والبالغ عددهن (200) معلمة لمعرفة دور تطبيق التعليم الإلكتروني وكذلك عقد اختبار على عينة من الطالبات والبالغ عددهن (178) طالبة في تطوير أداءهن وتمكينهن من مهارات متعددة في ثلاث مدارس مختلفة كعينة تجريبية لتطبيق تدريس الرياضيات إلكترونياً. وقد توصلت الباحثة إلى عدة نتائج أهمها: دور التعليم الإلكتروني في تطوير وتمكين المعلمات من مهارات القرن الواحد والعشرون، ووجود اتجاهات الطلاب الإيجابية نحو تطبيق هذا النوع من التعليم في دروس الرياضيات، ورفع مستواهم التحصيلي بالمادة ووجود عوائق تحول دون تطبيق التعليم الإلكتروني في المدارس، بالإضافة إلى وجود علامة ارتباطية موجبة بين تطبيق التعليم الإلكتروني وبين تطوير أداء المعلم وتحسين مستوى الطلاب من جهة أخرى. لذلك أوصت الباحثة بضرورة العمل على نشر ثقافة تطبيق التعليم الإلكتروني واتجاهه الإيجابي نحو تطوير أداء المعلمات وزيادة الدافعية لتعلم الرياضيات الذي بدوره يزيد من مستوى تحصيل الطلاب وبناء جيل طموح مبدع يساهم في تحقيق رؤية المملكة 2030. This research aims to discover and recognize the role of electronic learning in the development process of a teacher and the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes in Aljouf region. It has been noticed that mathematics teachers in Aljouf are not taking advantage of the electronic learning. Indeed, they are not even aware of the importance of this kind of learning in improving their performance and their students’ level which, in turn, reflects on the overall educational outcomes. Thus, it is necessary to take serious steps to satisfy and meet the goals of this research and explain the benefits of using electronic learning in teaching mathematics. This can be done by spreading the idea of utilizing and activating it. In addition, by facilitating and providing the required tools by cooperation with related departments such as the Schools Supplies Department. An electronic survey has been designed and distributed over a sample of mathematics teachers in Aljouf region. This sample contains 120 teachers out of 200 total teachers, which corresponds to 60%. The intention of this survey is to discover the role of electronic learning and acquiring certain skills. Another survey also has been distributed over a sample of students containing 178 students chosen from three different schools. The researcher has found a number of results. Most importantly, the role of utilizing electronic learning in developing and enabling mathematics teachers to have the required twenty-one century’s skills. Another finding is that the students themselves have a positive perspective and the intention to utilize this kind of learning on mathematics learning and escalating their performance. Also, it was found that there is a positive correlation between applying and utilizing electronic learning and the performance of the teachers which reflects on the students’ outcomes. However, it was found that there are few obstacles that prevent utilizing electronic learning in a number of schools. Thus, the researcher recommends to take serious actions in spreading the idea of utilizing the electronic learning in mathematics teaching and its positive trends in improving the overall performance of the teachers which, in turns, will motivate the students to learn mathematics. Thus, the student’s outcomes and performance will improve too. This eventually will help in creating a talented and ambitious generation to contribute meeting the Saudi vision 2030.
