هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الخصائص السيكومترية والبنية العاملية لمقياس تقدير الاضطراب الانفعالي النسخة الثالثة في البيئة السعودية، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (671) طالبا تتروح أعمارهم بين (5-18) سنة، وأكمل المقياس 169 معلما و502 معلمة، وأظهرت النتائج وجود دلالات صدق وثبات عالية للصورة السعودية من المقياس من خلال نتائج الاتساق الداخلي، ومعاملات ثبات الفا كرونباخ، وسبيرمان براون، وجتمان، كما أظهرت نتائج التحليل العاملي التوكيدي أن النموذج ذا العوامل الستة: 1) عدم القدرة على التعلم. 2) مشاكل في العلاقات. 3) السلوك غير المناسب. 4) الحزن أو الاكتئاب. 5) المخاوف أو الأعراض الجسدية. 6) عدم النضج الاجتماعي، يعد مقبولا، حيث ظهر أن العوامل الستة (المقاييس الفرعية) هي أبعاد متمايزة، ولكنها مرتبطة ببعضها، وتمت مناقشة النتائج، وتقديم عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات البحثية المستقبلية. The study aimed to identify the psychometric properties and the factorial structure of the scale for assessing emotional disturbance-third edition rating scale in Saudi environment. The study sample consisted of (671) students ranging in age from 5-18 years. 169 male and 502 female teachers completed the scale. The results indicated that there were high level of validity and reliability for the Saudi version of the scale through the results of internal consistency and reliability coefficients of alpha Cronbach, Spearman-Brown, and Guttman. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis also showed that the model with the six factors (inability to learn, relationship problems, inappropriate behavior, unhappiness or depression, physical symptoms or fears, socially maladjusted) is acceptable, as it appeared that the six factors (sub-scales) are distinct factors, but they are related to each other. The results were discussed and a number of recommendations and future research were provided. (Published abstract)
