The study aimed at finding out the effect of the interaction between the density of super links in the e-book interface and the pattern of learning on the reading comprehension skills in the English language for third-year secondary school students. To achieve this goal, the experimental method was applied. The study was applied to a sample of 50 third-year secondary school students, Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Secondary School: credits system. They were distributed in six experimental groups according to the experimental design of the study. The study instruments include an achievement prepost test of some English reading comprehension skills. The study instruments were administered before the experiment to achieve equivalence between the experimental groups. Then after the experiment, the study instruments were administered to study groups. The study came up with the following results: 1) There are no statistically significant differences at the (0.05) level among the average scores of the students of the experimental groups in the reading comprehension test due to the main effect of the difference in the level of the density of super links in the e-book interface (low, medium, and high). 2) There is a statistically significant difference at (0.05) level among the mean scores of the students of the two experimental groups in the reading comprehension test due to the fundamental effect of the different type of teaching (individual, and collaborative) in favor of the collaborative pattern group. 3) There are no statistically significant differences at the (0.05) level among the average scores of the students of the experimental groups in the reading comprehension test due to the main effect of the interaction between the density of links (low, medium, and high) and the type of teaching (individual, and collaborative). The study presented a number of suggestions and recommendations based on the results of the current study, which can benefit the educational level and development of e-books, especially related to the level of density of super links in the interface and the style of teaching using e-books.
