هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن أهمية التواصل الفردي باستخدام الواتساب في تواصل أولياء أمور طالبات الصف السادس في مادة الرياضيات بمدينة البريمي بسلطنة عمان، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة والإجابة عن الأسئلة قامت الباحثة باستخدام المنهج الوصفي، وتم استخدام استبانة مكونة من 37 فقرة. وتم قياس صدق المحتوى للأداة؛ وذلك بعرضها على ذوي الخبرة، ومن ثم قياس ثبات الأداة من خلال توزيعها على عينة استطلاعية، ثم حساب الاتساق الداخلي باستخدام معادلة ألفا كرونباخ. وقد بلغ معامل الثبات للمقياس ككل 716=α. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من 130 ولي أمر من أولياء أمور طالبات الصف السادس بمدرسة ميمونة بنت الحارث للتعليم الأساسي تم اختيارهم بالطريقة القصدية. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن المستوى العام لأهمية التواصل الفردي باستخدام الواتساب في تواصل أولياء أمور طالبات الصف السادس في مادة الرياضيات بمدينة البريمي بسلطنة عمان جاء بدرجة مرتفعة، كما كشفت أيضا أن الواتساب سهل الاستعمال وسريع الانتشار في مجتمع الدراسة. كما بينت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لمتغيري المستوى التعليمي وعمر ولي الأمر في أهمية التواصل الفردي باستخدام الواتساب في تواصل أولياء أمور طالبات الصف السادس في مادة الرياضيات بمدينة البريمي. واستناداً إلى النتائج، قدمت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات تعزيزاً لأهمية التواصل الفردي باستخدام الواتساب؛ وذلك لخدمة العملية التعليمية وتحقيقا لأهدافها. The aim of this study was to reveal the importance of individual communication using WhatsApp in the extent to which the guardians of sixth grade students in Mathematics at Buraimi city in the Sultanate of Oman continued to achieve the objectives of the study. So, the descriptive approach was used to collect data through questionnaire questions. The validity of the instrument was measured by using pilot study to measure the stability of the tool by distributing a survey sample to αcalculate the internal consistency using the Cronbach’s Alpha equation. The results of the reliability statistics were α=0.716. The study sample consisted of 130 guardians of sixth grade students in the school of Mimouna bint al-Harith School for Basic Education. The results of the study showed that the overall level of the importance of individual communication via WhatsApp in the extent of communication among the guardians of sixth grade students in Mathematics at AL Buraimi city in Oman was high, and also revealed that WhatsApp is easy to use and fast spreading in the Study sample. The findings of the study also demonstrated that there were no statistically significant differences between the educational level of the guardians and the age of the guardians in the importance of individual communication via WhatsApp in the extent to which guardians of sixth grade students in Mathematics at Buraimi city continued. Based on the results, the study presented some recommendations and suggestions to enhance the importance of individual communication through WhatsApp to develop the instructional process and achieve learning outcomes.
