سعت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور إدارات المدارس في تعزيز العمل التطوعي بالمدارس، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدم الباحث الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة، وبعد التأكد من صدقها وثباتها تم تطبيقها على عينة عشوائية قوامها (200) من مديري المدارس والمعلمين والطلبة، وقد جاءت نتائج الدراسة لتشير أنه يوجد العديد من المدارس لا تهتم بهذا الجانب، إما لعدم الرغبة في تفعيله، أو انه لا تملك الإمكانيات في ذلك، أو بسبب الخوف من ضياع الوقت، أو بكثرة الأعباء الملقاة على عاتق إدارات المدارس وأن أكثر من %70 من إدارات المدارس تركز على النواحي المالية لتفعيل العمل التطوعي، وذلك عن طريق توفير مبالغ مالية للمحتاجين من الطلبة، كما أشارت النتائج أن هنالك نسبة تقدر ب 60 % من الطلبة يرغبون في القيام بالأعمال التطوعية ومساندة إدارة المدرسة في ذلك، والغير الراغبين من الطلبة لا يفهمون المعنى الحقيقي والهدف الأسمى من وراء العمل التطوعي، وأظهرت النتائج أن الغالبية العظمى من المعلمين يساهمون في الأعمال التطوعية. وأوصت الدراسة بتفعيل جوانب التواصل والإعلام في تعريف المجتمع بأهمية العمل التطوعي بالمدارس، وضرورة قيام المؤسسات والشركات بتأدية رسالتها في هذا الموضوع، عن طريق توفير الدعم اللازم لها. وإعداد أنشطة وبرامج من قبل المديريات التعليمية لتحفيز وتنشيط ودعم المتطوعين وإقامة البرامج التدريبية لتنمية المعنى الحقيقي من العمل التطوعي لإدارات المدارس، وزيادة الوعي التعليمي والاجتماعي للطلبة بأهمية العمل التطوعي، وحث الطلبة على القيام ببحث عمل تطوعي في كل عام دراسي ويكون بحثا مقيما وتوضع له أسس وقواعد وحوافز مادية. The study aims at recognizing the role of school administration to enforce volunteer work in schools where it uses the descriptive method. To ensure the aims of the study, the researcher used the questionnaire as the study tool. After ensuring its reliability and credibility, it was randomly implemented in about 200 people including principals, teachers and students. The result of the study indicated that many schools don’t consider volunteer work either because they don’t intend to activate it or because they don’t have the facilities to do so. Or because of the fear of wasting time, or even the responsibilities loaded on them. About 70% of school administrations concentrate on funds to raise volunteer work. The study also indicated that about 60% of students have the intention to do volunteer work and help the school administration to implement it in schools and the students who don’t intend to participate, they don’t know the real meaning of the essence of volunteer work. In addition, the results showed that the majority of teachers participated in volunteer work where the study recommended activation of the role of communication and media to motivate the community of the importance of promoting this term and providing funds. It recommended that educational directories promote volunteers and conduct activities and programs, prepare training to develop the real meaning of volunteer work for school administrations, raising students' educational and social awareness. It is also important to urge students to do volunteer work studies each year and these studies should be done under certain criteria where they have a basis and funds. (Published abstract)
