يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على أثر نمط الإبحار في برنامج وسائط متعددة تفاعلية على تحصيل طلاب الصف السادس الابتدائي في منهج اللغة الإنجليزية، وتكونت عينة البحث من (30) تلميذاً من تلاميذ مجمع الخليج التعليمي ببريدة، حيث تم تقسيم التلاميذ إلى مجموعتين تجريبيتين كل مجموعة (15) تلميذاً، وفق التصميم التجريبي للبحث، وتم تصميم برمجية البحث باتباع نموذج "محمد سليمان السيد" وبعد التأكد من تجانس المجموعتين التجريبيتين تم تطبيق التجربة على المجموعتين باختلاف نمط الإبحار، ومن ثم تطبيق أداة البحث المتمثلة في الاختبار التحصيلي. وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند (0.05) بين متوسط درجات المجموعتين التجريبيتين (المجموعة التي درست بنمط الإبحار الخطي والمجموعة التي درست بنمط الإبحار من خلال القائمة). The research aims to know the effect of the different navigation styles in interactive multimedia software on achievement in English language with the elementary sixth grade students, and the sample was (30) students from Al-khaleej Educational Complex in Buraidah, where the students were divided into two experimental groups (15 ) students for each, according to the experimental research design. The interactive multimedia software has been designed by following "Alsayed, Mohammed Solaiman" designing model. After confirming the homogeneity of the two experimental groups, the software was applied on two groups with different navigation patterns, then the researcher applied the achievement test. Results of the search show the lack of statistically significant differences at (0.05) between the average degrees of the two experimental groups (one group that studied through the linear navigation pattern and another group that studied through the menu navigation pattern).
