هدفت الدّراسة إلى تحفيز الطلبة على العمل التّطوعي، من خلال الكشف عن طرق مساهمة العمل التّطوعي في تحقيق السعادة لدى المتطوعين من طلبة المرحلة الثّانوية بمدارس مدينة جدة، والكشف عن التّحديات التي قد تواجههم وتقديم مقترحاتهم لنشر ثقافة العمل التّطوعي. ولتحقيق ذلك اتبعت الدّراسة المنهج النّوعي: دراسة الحالة، وجمعت البيانات بتطبيق أداة البحث المقابلة الفردية مفتوحة النّهاية، وتكون مجتمع الدّراسة من المتطوعين من طلبة المرحلة الثّانوية بمدارس مدينة جدة، وكان عدد المشاركين (عشرة) طلاب. وتوصلت الدّراسة لأهم النّتائج وهي: مساهمة العمل التّطوعي في تحقيق السعادة للطلبة المتطوعين من طلبة المرحلة الثّانوية بمدينة جدة، وتشكلت تلك المساهمة من خلال مشاعر الفرح والسرور، والشعور بالرضا عن النفس، وتحسن النفسية والمزاج والشعور بالإنجاز. من أكبر التّحديات التي تواجه الطلبة المتطوعون من طلبة المرحلة الثّانوية التّحديات الشخصية، تليها التّحديات المادية ثم التّحديات المجتمعية والتّنظيميّة. من أبرز مقترحات المتطوعين من طلبة المرحلة الثّانوية كانت النّشر من خلال وسائل التّواصل الاجتماعي، والتثقيف في الأماكن العامة، واشتراط العمل التّطوعي لدخول الجامعة أو التعيين في الوظائف، وتعويد الأطفال من الصغر. ومن أهم توصيات الدّراسة المرتبطة بالنّتائج: أن تقوم إدارة المدرسة بنشر ثقافة العمل التّطوعي داخل المدرسة، وحثّ الطلبة على القيام به، بحيث تصبح جزءًا من ثقافتهم. أن تقوم إدارة المدرسة بتبني برامج توعوية تسهم في زيادة خبرة الطلبة بالعمل التّطوعي، وكيفية التّغلب على التّحديات التي قد تواجههم. أن تقوم إدارة المدرسة بعمل برامج تدريبية للطلبة لإكسابهم بعض المهارات المساندة للعمل التّطوعي مثل مهارة إدارة الوقت. أن تقوم إدارة المدرسة بعقد اللقاءات لأولياء الأمور لتوضيح أهمية العمل التّطوعي، وتشجيعهم أبنائهم على ممارسته. أن تقوم الإدارة المالية في المؤسسات التربوية بتخصيص ميزانية مناسبة لدعم أنشطة العمل التّطوعي. أن تقوم إدارة المدرسة بالتعاون مع الشركات والمؤسسات لتنظيم المبادرات التّطوعيّة وفق أنظمة الشراكة المجتمعية. أن يقوم المرشد الطلابي بعقد اجتماعات دورية لتوجيه الطلبة المتطوعين وإتاحة الفرصة للحوار والمناقشة وتبادل الآراء. أن تقوم إدارة المدرسة بدعم الطلبة من خلال نشر إعلانات الأنشطة التّطوعيّة في منصات التّواصل الاجتماعي الخاصة بالمدرسة. أن تقوم إدارة الموارد البشرية في المملكة بإدراج ساعات العمل التّطوعي في بنود الأداء الوظيفي لجميع الموظفين للمساهمة في تعميق القيم المرتبطة بالعمل التّطوعي. أن تقوم إدارة النشاط الطلابي بتفعيل أنشطة تدعم العمل التّطوعي من المراحل الدراسية الأولى للطلبة بما يتناسب مع قدراتهم وميولهم. The purpose of this study was to motivate students to do voluntary work by exploring the ways volunteer work contributes to achieving happiness among secondary school volunteers in Jeddah schools, revealing the challenges they may confront and presenting their suggestions to disseminate the volunteer work culture. To achieve this, the study adopted the qualitative approach: a case study, and data were collected by applying the individual open-ended interview research tool. The study population consisted of volunteers from high school students in the schools of the city of Jeddah, and the number of participants was (10) students. The most important results of the study namely: the contribution of voluntary work in achieving happiness for volunteer students from secondary school students in Jeddah, and that contribution was formed through feelings of joy and pleasure, a feeling of self-satisfaction, and an improvement in psychological state, mood and a sense of achievement. One of the greatest challenges faced by high school volunteer students is the personal challenges, followed by the financial challenges, then the societal and organizational challenges. Among the most important proposals of volunteers from high school students was publishing through social media, educating in public places, and requiring volunteer work as a requirement to be accepted in the university or to be appointed to jobs, and to get children accustomed since childhood. Among the most important recommendations of the study related to the results: that the school administration spread the culture of volunteer work within the school and urge students to do it; so that it becomes part of their culture. That the school administration adopts awareness programs that contribute to increasing the students’ experience of volunteer work and how to overcome the challenges that they may face. The school administration should conduct training programs for students to provide them with some supportive skills for volunteer work, such as time management. The school administration should hold meetings for parents to explain the importance of volunteer work and encourage their children to practice it. The financial department in educational institutions should allocate an appropriate budget to support volunteer work activities. The school administration should cooperate with companies and institutions to organize voluntary initiatives in accordance with community partnership systems. The student advisor should hold periodic meetings to guide the student volunteers and provide them with the opportunity for dialogue, discussion and exchange of views. The school administration should support the students by publishing announcements of volunteer activities on the school's social media platforms. The Human Resources Department in Saudi Arabia include volunteer work hours in job performance items for all employees to contribute to deepening the values associated with volunteer work. The Student Activity Department should activate activities that support volunteer work from the first stages of study for students in a way that is commensurate with their abilities and tendencies.
