هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن طبيعة الشراكة بين المدرسة والأسرة في المدارس الابتدائية الحكومية في مدينة جدة، وعن الآليات الفاعلة لتطبيق الشراكة بين المدرسة والأسرة، وأسباب نجاحها. ولتحقيق ذلك اتبعت الدراسة المنهج النوعي المفهومي دراسة حالة واعتمدت على المقابلة الفردية شبه المنظمة كأداة لجمع البيانات من عينة الدراسة المؤلفة من خمس من رائدات لجنة الشراكة في المدرسة، وخمس من أولياء أمور الطالبات في المدرسة. وقد تم تحليل البيانات وفقاً لأنماط الشراكة الستة لنموذج ابيستين لشراكة أولياء الأمور (ابيستين وآخرون، 2015). وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى توضيح مفهوم الشراكة بأنها علاقة تكاملية تكافلية، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج، أهمها: أن الشراكة الفاعلة يمكن أن تتشكل من خلال تكوين علاقات ودية وتعاونية تتجلى فيها معاني التكامل والتكافل في الأدوار والمسؤوليات بين المدرسة والأسر . كما ساهم تحديد الأدوار والمسؤوليات لأولياء الأمور في معرفة ما هو متوقع منهم؛ الأمر الذي ساعد في فرص إشراكهم في البرامج والأنشطة المتنوعة بهدف تحسين تعلم الطلبة. وقد انتهت الدراسة إلى التوصية بضرورة نشر ثقافة الشراكة الأسرية في المدرسة والإنجازات المحققة من خلال وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي من قبل رائدات الشراكة في المدارس، والعمل على تشجيع تعاون أولياء الأمور في المدارس من خلال تكثيف وتوسيع قنوات وسائل التواصل من قبل المدارس. This study aimed to explore the nature of the school- family partnership in primary public schools in the city of Jeddah, and the effective mechanisms of implementing this partnership as well as the respective means of success. To attain this purpose, the study adopted qualitative interpretive research design: case study and utilized semi structured interviews to collect data from five parents and five family- school partnership pioneers. Data collected was analyzed through Epstein's Six Types of Parent Involvement Model. Findings of the study revealed that the ten participants understand the school-family partnership in terms of supplementary and complementary relationship. Moreover, findings of this study revealed that partnership can be effectively formed through building cooperative relationships based on meaningful roles where everyone complement and supplement the other. Further to that, identifying the expected roles of the parents, contributed to increasing their opportunities of engaging in school programs and activities to enhance students’ learning. The study concluded with recommending increasing awareness about school-family partnership and educating the families about it and about its respective achievements through social media. The study also recommended encouraging parents to cooperate and connect with schools through available resources provided by the schools. (Author’s abstract)
