This study explores the relationship between neuro-linguistic programming (NLP)-both the classical code and the new generation-and leadership development. It addresses the challenge that many leaders struggle with essential leadership skills, including behavioral, cognitive, emotional, and spiritual intelligence, which are critical for effective leadership. The study proposes a framework combining leadership strategies, classical NLP tools, and new generation NLP techniques to enhance leaders’ performance. Using a mixed-methods approach with qualitative interviews, observations at three institutes, and a quantitative survey, the findings demonstrate that both forms of NLP significantly contribute to leadership development. This research highlights how NLP supports emotional intelligence, self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, and relationship management, empowering leaders to improve their effectiveness and achieve leadership growth.
