The study aimed to identify the availability of contemporary trends for teaching mathematics in the primary curriculum of public and private schools from the point of view of mathematics teachers in the State of Kuwait. The study sample consisted of (272) primary school mathematics teachers in public schools, distributed across the six educational districts in the State of Kuwait, in addition to mathematics teachers in private education for the primary level. The researcher selected the sample randomly according to the desire of the respondents for the study tool, which is an electronic questionnaire. The researcher used the descriptive and comparative approach between male and female teachers in public and private schools. The researcher relied on measures of central tendency to answer the first, second, and third study questions. As for the fourth question, he used the T-Test and One Way ANOVA to determine the availability of contemporary trends for teaching primary school mathematics in the content of the curriculum according to some independent variables such as gender, years of experience, Region and type of school. The results of the study showed that contemporary trends in its two dimensions (educational experiences - textbook and educational activities) were present in the content of the mathematics curriculum with a high degree of appreciation, with an overall arithmetic mean of (2.40) and a standard deviation of (0.28). The researcher recommended the necessity of providing contemporary trends in mathematics curricula and continuing to evaluate the curricula to ensure the availability of the trends.
