This study aimed to reveal the level of application of the Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (CAEP) standards in the special education teacher preparation program at the College of Basic Education from the point of view of the faculty members of Special Education Department. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire was distributed to 24 members from the Special Education Department. The questionnaire consisted of (58) statements covering the six CAEP 2022 standards. The results showed that the level of achievement of CAEP standards in the program was moderate for both Content and Pedagogical Knowledge standard and Clinical Partnerships and Practice standard. As for the Candidate Recruitment, Progression, and Support standard, Fiscal and Administrative Capacity standard, Program Impact standard, and Quality Assurance System and Continuous Improvement standard, the level of verification was low. Based on the findings of personal interviews with three faculty members from Special Education Department, the most important practical applications, and recommendations for meeting the standards of the Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (CAEP) were revealed.
