هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور القائدات التربويات في تفعيل التعليم الإلكتروني بالمدارس الحكومية في مدينة جدة من وجهة نظر معلمات المرحلة الثانوية، ولتحقيق الهدف اتبعت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي المسحي، حيث اعدت استبيانا يتضمن بنوداً تساعد على الإجابة عن السؤال البحثي، و طبقت الباحثة الاستبانة على عينة من معلمات المرحلة الثانوية بالمدارس الحكومية بمدينة جدة، البالغ عددهن (357) معلمة من مجتمع الدراسة الأصلي؛ وهو (4973) معلمة، وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة قيام القائدات التربويات بدرجة (كبيرة) بتفعيل التعليم الإلكتروني وذلك بتقديم الدعم في المجال المعرفي، ثم في المجال التقني، وأخيرا تقديم الدعم في المجال المادي. اضافة إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05)، بين متوسطات إجابات معلمات المرحلة الثانوية تجاه دور القائدات التربويات في تفعيل التعليم الإلكتروني على مستوى المجالات والأداة ككل، تعزى لمتغيري: المؤهل العلمي والمكتب التابع له المعلمات . و من أهم توصيات الدراسة ضرورة تعزيز مكاتب التعليم بجدة لدور القائدات التربويات في تحديد احتياجات المدرسة من وسائل التعليم الإلكتروني، من خلال عقد البرامج التدريبية المتصلة بالطرائق والأساليب العلمية المتبعة في تحديد الاحتياجات، و عقد إدارة التعليم بجدة للورش واللقاءات العلمية؛ لزيادة وتقوية اهتمام القائدات التربويات بالتوضيح المستمر للمعلمات عن التعليم الإلكتروني، وأهميته في العملية التعليمية والإشرافية. This study aimed to examine the role of educational leaders in activating e-learning in public schools in the city of Jeddah, KSA from the perspectives of teachers in the secondary public schools. To achieve this purpose, the study adopted the descriptive survey research design, and utilized the questionnaire to collect data from a sample of (357) public-school secondary teachers in Jeddah from a population consisting of (4973) public school secondary teachers. Findings of this study revealed that public school leaders practice their roles in activating e-learning at a high degree through providing cognitive, technical, and financial support. Moreover, findings showed that there is no statistically significant difference at the level of (α=0.05) between the means of public-school secondary teachers’ responses towards educational leaders’ role in activating e-learning in reference to the controlling variables of the study: academic qualification and the teaching office they belong to. Accordingly, this study concluded with several recommendations the most important of which is that the teaching offices should enhance the role of educational leaders in identifying schools’ needs including technological teaching aids or tools. This is recommended to take place through conducting training programs using scientific methods to identify the needs, and conducting workshops and scientific forums to promote educational leaders’ interest in providing continuous explanation to teachers about e-learning, and its significance in the teaching and supervision processes.
