This study aims to determine the levels of competency achieved by female students enrolled on the Arabic language program at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University during distance learning. The definitions of the varying levels of competency were derived from the Saudi National Qualifications framework. The study employed a descriptive design, and a questionnaire, which was used to collect data. A total of 217 female students on the program participated in the study. Results showed that participants were competent in taking responsibility, valuing scientific integrity, and applying teamwork skills. Results also indicated that students had an advanced level of effective communication. These results showed that distance learning was not a hindrance factor, as students were able to achieve competencies even when they studied via distance learning. This can be attributed to the learning outcomes set by the program. The study proposed measuring the levels of competency as they are required in the labor market, in addition to diversifying workshops and activities administered to students to help them develop their personalities and improve their personal and social competencies.
