إن الهدف الرئيس لهذه الدراسة هو معرفة نسب مساهمة تلك القياسات الأنثروموبترية على الأداء المهاري لحركة الطعن في المبارزة، وتعرف مدى أهميتها ومساهمتها في الطعن، وكان فرض الدراسة ما يأتي وجود فروق إحصائية بين تلك الأجزاء والتي تمثلت (طول الكلي الجسم، طول الذراع، طول الطرف السفلي)، ومهارة الطعن في سلاح شيش المبارزة للطالبات. تمثل مجتمع البحث بطالبات كلية التربية البدنية، جامعة الأنبار، طالبات المرحلة الثالثة، والتي كان عددهن (45). أما عينته فتكون من (12) طالبة يمثلن (26.66%) من المجموع الكلي. بعدها قام الباحثون بأخذ جميع القياسات، وحسب ما متفق علية في المصادر العلمية من بداية المفصل تشريحا وحتى نهايته، لتكون تلك القياسات ممثلة لتلك الأعضاء تمثيلا حقيقيا، بالإضافة إلى ذلك القيام باختبار مهارة الطعن من الحركة. وبعد الحصول على جميع بيانات تلك المتغيرات تم معالجتها إحصائيا وتعرف نسب مساهمتها في العمل.
