إن الإنتقاء المبني على وفق أسس علمية وعملية تكون مخرجاته لاعبات يمتلكون قدرات تؤهلهم للارتقاء والتفوق والوصول إلى المستويات العليا، لذا يسعى الباحثون والعاملون في المجال الرياضي، إلى تحديث وتطوير عملية الإنتقاء بوساطة توسيع مجالات الإنتقاء من إنتقاء بدني ومهاري وحركي وقياس جسمي، فضلا عن الجانب النفسي والمتغيرات الميكانيكية وغيرها من الجوانب الأخرى التي تخدم الإنتقاء. ركز الباحث على جانب القياسات الجسمية وتحديد أهمها لتوظيفها في عملية إنتقاء للاعبات منتخب التربية بكرة اليد مستخدما المنهج الوصفي بالأسلوب المسحي على عينة البحث والبالغ عددها (100) طالبة باعمار (13-14) سنة. وبعد استخلاص النتائج من القياسات المستخدمة في البحث، ومعالجتها إحصائية وتحليلها ومناقشتها، توصل الباحث إلى الإستنتاجات الآتية: 1) إن اهم القياسات الجسمية (الوزن، الطول الكلي، طول الذراع، طول الكف، عرض الكف) لإنتقاء لاعبات منتخب التربية بكرة اليد. يوصي الباحث باعتماد نتائج القياسات الجسمية المستخلصة من الدراسة في عملية إنتقاء لاعبات منتخب التربية بكرة اليد. وإجراء الدراسات وبحوث مشابهة على عينات مختلفة. The selection is based on scientific and practical foundations. Its outputs are players who possess capabilities that qualify them to advance, excel and reach higher levels. Therefore, researchers and workers in the sports field seek to modernize and develop the selection process by expanding the fields of selection from physical, skillful, motor and physical selection as well as the psychological aspect and mechanical variables. And other aspects that serve selection, and in our current study, the researcher focused on the aspect of physical measurements and determining the most important of them in order to employ them in the selection process for the players of the education team in handball, using the descriptive approach in the survey method on the sample of the research, which numbered (100) students at ages (13-14) years, after extracting the results from the measurements used in the research and processing them statistically, analyzing and discussing them, the researcher reached conclusions, including that the most important physical measurements (weight, total length, arm length, palm length, palm width) to select female players. The education team in handball, and the researcher recommends adopting the results of physical measurements extracted from the current study in the process of selecting the players of the education team in handball.
