The research aims to prepare an educational curriculum according to the numbered heads strategy, and to identify the impact of an educational curriculum according to the numbered heads strategy, on the development of creative thinking in handball for students. In addition, there are differences in the results of the post-tests for the experimental and control groups, as the research sample consisted of students of the third stage - College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Kirkuk for the academic year (2020-2021). The number of them is (52) students, where the two groups were chosen in a deliberate way to represent one of the two experimental groups, which numbered (20) students, as for the control group, their number was (20) students, and (12) students were excluded from those on whom the exploratory experiment was applied, as well as club players. The two researchers used the experimental method with the experimental and control groups in the pre and posttests, due to its relevance to the nature of the research. The results of the research showed that the educational curriculum according to the numbered heads strategy has a positive effect on the creative thinking of handball among the research sample, in addition to the diversification of exercises that increased the factor of suspense and excitement and had a significant impact on developing harmony and cooperation among students. In light of the conclusions of the research, the researchers recommend conducting other research and studies to find out the strategy of the numbered heads in developing other cognitive aspects and other sports aspects in games.
