يتلخص البحث كما يرى الباحثان في قسمين أساسيين، متمثل أحدهما في عدم وجود محددات موضوعية أدت إلى الضعف في الانتقاء، وفق المحددات العقلية والذهنية العالية للطالب بكرة اليد متمثلة في موضوع هذا البحث، وبمستوى الذكاء بما ينعكس على سرعة التأقلم مع واقع كرة اليد. والقسم الآخر في ضعف مناهج التعلم التي تفتقد إلى خصوصية استهداف المتطلبات الخاصة باللعبة والتي من بينها تلك التمرينات التي تنمي وتطور مهارتي المناولة والتصويب بكرة اليد كأحد المهارات الأساسية المهمة للعبة، وهذا التطوير يشمل الأداء المثالي للمهارة بالصورة الصحيح، مما يساعد الطالب على تحسين الأداء في المستقبل، فضلا عن تسخير الإمكانيات في فترات عمرية صغيرة لتحقيق الغاية منها، مما دعا الباحث إلى أعداد تمرينات لتطوير بعض المتغيرات البيوميكانيكة لمهارة التصويب لدى طلاب المرحلة الرابعة، كلية التربية البدنية وعلوم الرياضة، جامعة ديالى. تتلخص مشكلة البحث التي شخصها الباحثان من خلال اهتمامه باللعبة وكون كرة اليد ميدان اختصاصه كلاعب لفرق النخبة من الأندية، المرحلة الأولى عن طريق الملاحظة والتي عززت بالمرحلة الثانية عن طريق تحليل البايوميكانيكي لزوايا الأداء للطلاب. شخص من خلال مصدرين التشخيص أعلاه لمشكلة البحث المتمثلة بضعف الأداء لبعض الطلاب في هذه المهارة المهمة والتي تقرن بسرعة ظهور الفعل الحركي لحظة اختيار نوع واتجاه الحركة الأساسية التي تتبع الحركة للمنافس بسرعة آنية، باعتبار مهارات كرة اليد غير محدودة الاستجابات للمثيرات الآنية بما يجعلها ترتبط بشكل مباشر بمستوى المهاري للطالب. أما منهج البحث، فقد استخدم الباحثان المنهج التجريبي لملاءمته لمشكلة البحث وإجراءاته. تم اختيار عينة البحث بالطريقة العمدية والمتمثلة بطلاب المرحلة الرابعة الدراسة المسائية، كلية التربية البدنية وعلوم الرياضة، والبالغ عددهم (68) طالبا مقسمين إلى شعبتين (أ، ب) وعن طريق القرعة تم اختيار شعبة (أ).
