لقد هدفت هذه الدراسة البحثية إلى تطبيق إستراتيجية ديكتوجلوس التدريسية لتعزيز المهارات اللغوية الكتابية باللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية، وذلك لطلاب تخصص الطب في السنة الأولى بجامعة العريش. وكان التركيز على تجربة تحسين ترتيب الكلام واختيار الكلمات وبنية الجُمَل وآليات الكتابة والتحرير. لقد شارك في هذه الدراسة البحثية 133 طالباً وطالبة (وهم 80 طالبة أنثى و53 طالبا ذكراً) وذلك خلال الفصل الدراسي الأول من العام الدراسي 2023 - 2024. وشملت الأدوات البحثية المستخدمة نموذج تقييم عبارة عن اختبار كتابة مقال تم توزيعه على الطلاب والطالبات. لقد استخدمت هذه الدراسة البحثية طريقة التصميم شبه التجريبي ذي المجموعة الواحدة في بداية الدراسة البحثية وفي آخر الدراسة البحثية. بشكل عام، لقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة البحثية تحسنًا عامًا كبيراً ذا دلالة إحصائية في مهارات الكتابة لدى الطلاب والطالبات المشاركين، مع الإشارة إلى تطور كبير ملحوظ فيما يتعلق بترتيب الكلام وآليات الكتابة على الوجه الخصوص، وذلك يُعْزى إلى فاعلية وكفاءة استخدام إستراتيجية ديكتوجلوس التدريسية في تعليم اللغة الإنجليزية. The purpose of this research study was to utilize the Dictogloss teaching strategy to enhance the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) writing skills of first year Arish University medical college students. The focus of this research study was on improving linguistic organization, word choice, language structure, writing mechanics and editing. Actually, a total number of 133 students participated in this research study during the first semester of the academic year 2023 - 2024: 80 students of the participants were female students whereas 53 of them were male students. The instruments that were used in this research study included scoring rubric and an essay writing test. The research study utilized a one-group pre-test and post-test quasi-experimental design. The results showed a significant overall improvement in the participants’ language writing skills, with notable enhancements in organization and writing mechanics specifically attributed to the use of the Dictogloss teaching strategy.
