هدف البحث إلى تعرف أثر استخدام استراتيجية ميردر في تنمية الوعي القرائي لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية. تكونت عينة البحث الأساسية من (74) تلميذا وتلميذة من تلاميذ الصف الرابع والصف الخامس الابتدائي، وتم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين الأولى تجريبية مكونة من (37) تلميذا وتلميذة من مدرسة بنك سينا الابتدائية، والثانية ضابطة مكونة من (37) تلميذا وتلميذة من مدرسة عباس صالح الابتدائية، وتم تطبيق مقياس الوعي القرائي، والبرنامج القائم على استراتيجية ميردر (إعداد الباحثة). أسفرت النتائج عن الأثر الفعال للبرنامج المستخدم في تنمية الوعي القرائي لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية للمجموعة التجريبية، حيث وجدت، فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطي درجات المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة على مقياس الوعي القرائي لصالح المجموعة التجريبية ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطي درجات المجموعة التجريبية على مقياس الوعي القرائي في القياسين القبلي والبعدي لصالح القياس البعدي وعدم وجود فروق دالة بين متوسطي درجات المجموعة التجريبية في القياسين البعدي والتتبعي. The research aimed to identify the impact of using Murder’s strategy in developing reading awareness among primary school students, and the main research sample composed of (74) male and female students, from fourth and fifth grade students, and they were divided into two groups, the first is an experimental group composed of (37) male and female students from Bank Sina Elementary School, and the second is the control group composed of (37) male and female students from Abbas Saleh Elementary School. The reading awareness scale was applied, and the program based on the using Murder’s strategy were also applied. The research has found out that there are statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group and the control group in the post-application on the reading awareness in the favour of the experimental group and statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group in the pre- post application on the reading awareness in the favor of the post- application. There are no statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group in the poth post and follow up measurement on the reading awareness scale. (Published abstract)
