هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تنمية الوعي البيئي لدى طلاب كلية التربية بالعريش. لتحقيق الهدف قامت الباحثة باستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وقامت بإعداد استبانة مقسمة إلى ثلاثة محاور أساسية بحيث تتضمن هذه المحاور العناصر الثلاثة الرئيسة للوعي البيئي؛ لمعرفة دور شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تنميتها. اشتملت عينة الدراسة على (248) طالبا وطالبة من طلاب كلية التربية بالعريش. أكدت نتائج الدراسة على أن شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي أثرت بشكل إيجابي في تنمية عناصر الوعي البيئي الثلاثة، وهي: 1) عنصر الاهتمام بقضايا ومشكلات البيئة. 2) عنصر الفهم والاستيعاب وما يتضمنه من قدرة على النقد والتحليل. 3) عنصر المشاركة والإسهام في قضايا البيئة. قدمت الباحثة في نهاية الدراسة ثلاثة متطلبات رئيسة لتفعيل آليات دور شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في تنمية الوعي البيئي لدى طلاب كلية التربية بالعريش بصفة خاصة وطلاب الجامعات المصرية بصفة عامة، وشملت هذه المتطلبات كلا من: الدولة، كليات التربية، والطالب. The study aimed at identifying the role of social networks in developing the environmental awareness of the faculty of education students in Arish. The researcher used the analytical transitional approach. For identifying the role of social networking, a checklist was prepared divided into three sections containing the main three elements of environmental awareness. The study sample included (248) students from the Faculty of Art in Arish. The results of the study assured that the social networks affected positively in developing the three elements environmental awareness as follows: 1) The interest on issues and problems of the environment. 2) Understanding and it includes the ability to criticize and analysis. 3) Participating in and contributing to environmental issues. The researcher at the end of the study provided three main requirements to activate the role of social networks in developing the environmental awareness the Faculty of Arish student, in particular, and the Egyptian university students in general included the requirements includes country, faculties of education and student.
