هدف البحث إلى الوقوف على المبررات التي تدعو إلى التحول نحو الإدارة المدرسية التشاركية وتحقيق التميز بها، والتعرف على أهم المعوقات التي تحول دون تحقيق التميز المدرسي في ضوء الإدارة التشاركية، والتوصل إلى تصور مقترح لتحقيق التميز المدرسي في ضوء مدخل الإدارة التشاركية. استخدم البحث منهج البحث الوصفي حيث أنه أكثر ملائمة لطبيعة الدراسة. توصل البحث إلى أن هناك العديد من المتطلبات الواجب تحقيقها لتطبيق الإدارة التشاركية بالمدارس وتحقيق التميز بها، وتنقسم هذه المتطلبات إلى متطلبات عامة وتشمل: نشر ثقافة الإدارة التشاركية، وتدعيم القيادات لمفهوم الإدارة التشاركية، ومتطلبات خاصة وتشمل: تنمية السلوك الإبداعي، تفويض السلطة والصلاحيات، والتنمية المهنية المستدامة. The research aims to identify the justifications that call for a shift towards participatory school management and achieving excellence in it, identify the most important obstacles that prevent the achievement of school excellence in light of participatory management, and reach a proposed conception to achieve school excellence in light of the participatory management approach. The research used descriptive research methodology as it is more appropriate to the nature of the study. The research concluded that there are many requirements that must be fulfilled to implement participatory management in schools and achieve excellence in them. These requirements are divided into general requirements and include: Spreading a culture of participatory management, and supporting leaderships for the concept of participatory management. Special requirements include: the development of creative behavior, delegation of authority and powers, and sustainable professional development. (Published abstract)
