هدفت الدراسة للكشف عن واقع خدمة جامعة العريش للمجتمع السيناوي في ضوء الخبرات العالمية المعاصرة. استخدم الباحث أسلوب الدراسة المستقبلية لدراسة الظاهرة ومحاولة تنميتها وتطويرها في المستقبل. توصلت الدراسة لبعض النتائج، منها: عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين استجابات أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالنسبة لمتغير الوظيفة، تواجه جامعة العريش بعض المشكلات للقيام بمسؤوليتها الاجتماعية، منها: حداثة الجامعة، حداثة مفهوم المسؤولية الاجتماعية، التنوع الجغرافي والبيئي لشمال سيناء، المركزية التي تقيد الجامعة. أوصت الدراسة بالعديد من المقترحات، منها: إجراء البحوث والدراسات المختلفة في مجال خدمة المجتمع، إنشاء قسم في كل كلية للاهتمام بخدمة المجتمع، ضرورة اهتمام جامعة العريش بالمجتمع السيناوي والتواصل والتفاعل مع أفراده ومؤسساته من خلال الندوات والمؤتمرات ليكون لها دور في الإصلاح والتغيير والتطوير، مراعاة التنوع الجغرافي والبيئي لمجتمع شمال سيناء، تقليل المركزية من قبل وزارة التعليم العالي للجامعة لترك المجال لاكتشاف المبدعين في خدمة المجتمع، وإعطاء أعضاء هيئة التدريس مزيدا من الحرية لممارسة إبداعاتهم في مجال خدمة المجتمع السيناوي. The study aimed to reveal the reality of the service of Al-Arish University to the Sinai community in the light of modern world experience, and the researcher used the future study style to study the phenomenon and try to develop and develop it in the future. To carry out its social responsibility, including: the modernity of the university, the modernity of the concept of social responsibility, the geographical and environmental diversity of North Sinai, the centrality that restricts the university, and the study recommended many proposals, including: conducting various research and studies in the field of service Society, establishing a department in each college to take care of community service, the necessity of Al-Arish University’s interest in the Sinai community, communication and interaction with its members and institutions through seminars and conferences to have a role in reform, change and development, taking into account the geographical and environmental diversity of the North Sinai community, reducing centralization by the University’s Ministry of Higher Education to leave the space for discovering creative people in community service, and to give faculty members more freedom to practice their creativity in the field of Sinai community service.
