هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى المشكلات الأكاديمية والإدارية التي تواجه رؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية في جامعة آل البيت من وجهة نظرهم. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم تطوير استبانة لجمع البيانات وتم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها وتوزيعها على عينة عشوائية من (40) رئيس قسم أكاديمي. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن المشكلات الأكاديمية والإدارية التي تواجه رؤساء الأقسام الأكاديمية جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، فقد جاء قلة تطوير البرامج الأكاديمية في الرتبة الأولى بينما جاء ضعف التنظيم في الرتبة الأخيرة، وكذلك أشارت إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية (a=0.05) تعزى لمتغيرات (الجنس، الرتبة الأكاديمية، الخبرة، الكلية)، وأوصت الدراسة بزيادة وعي رؤساء الأقسام بأهمية المشكلات الإدارية والأكاديمية لما لها من تأثير في تطوير العمل الإداري والأكاديمي داخل القسم من خلال عقد ندوات وبرامج تدريبية متخصصة. This study aimed to identify the academic and administrative problems facing the heads of the academic department at AL al-Bayt University from their point of view. To achieve the goal of the study, a questionnaire was prepared to collect data and distributed it to a random sample of (40) HODS. The results of the study showed that the academic and administrative problems facing the heads of the academic department came with a moderate degree, Where the development of academic programs came in the first rank, while the organization came in the last rank, and it also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences attributable to variables (type, academic rank and Experience, college. The study recommended raising the awareness of HODS the importance of administrative and academic problems due to their impact on developing administrative and academic work within the department through holding seminars and specialized training programs.
