This study aims to explore the extent of teachers’ awareness of the concept of cybersecurity and its relationship to the application of modern strategies to protect students from digital risks online, in addition to ways to enhance national values and identity among students. A descriptive correlational approach was followed, where a scale was developed to measure teachers’ level of awareness of cybersecurity, in addition to evaluating their methods of protecting students from electronic risks and ways to enhance national values. The study sample consisted of (104) male and female teachers from Taif public and private schools. The results showed that teachers have a high degree of awareness about cybersecurity, especially with regard to protecting personal and mobile devices from cyber-attacks. It also showed that they rely on various methods to protect students from the risks of the internet and enhance national identity, through educational objectives, teaching methods, school activities, and projects, as well as various assessment methods. The ministry was also keen to continuously train teachers on methods and ways to implement activities and events that contribute to instilling national concepts and enhancing national identity among students. The study emphasized the importance of spreading a culture of cybersecurity awareness among teachers at all general education levels with the aim of educating students.
