استهدف البحث الكشف عن طبيعة العلاقة بين أبعاد إدارة الذات، والدرجة الكلية، وأبعاد الكفاءة الاجتماعية، والدرجة الكلية، لدى طلاب الجامعة، والتعرف على الفروق بين متوسط درجات طلاب الجامعة، على أبعاد إدارة الذات، والدرجة الكلية، والتعرف على الفروق بين متوسط درجات طلاب الجامعة، على أبعاد الكفاءة الاجتماعية، والدرجة الكلية. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (82) طالبا وطالبة من طلاب الجامعة بجامعة بورسعيد وقد تراوحت أعمارهم ما بين (18-22) عاما، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم الباحث: مقياسي (إدارة الذات - والكفاءة الاجتماعية) من إعداد الباحث وكشفت النتائج عما يلي: توجد علاقة ارتباطية بين أبعاد إدارة الذات (مراقبة الذات - إدارة الوقت - إدارة الانفعالات - الثقة والدافعية)، والدرجة الكلية، وأبعاد الكفاءة الاجتماعية (مهارات التواصل - المسؤولية الاجتماعية - الاستقلالية - العلاقات الاجتماعية)، والدرجة الكلية لدى طلاب الجامعة. كما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات طلاب الجامعة، على أبعاد مقياس إدارة الذات)، والدرجة الكلية، توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات طلاب الجامعة، على أبعاد مقياس الكفاءة الاجتماعية، والدرجة الكلية. This research aims at discovering the nature of relationship between the dimensions of self-management and the total degree from one side, and the dimensions of social competence and the total degree from another side for the university students. Moreover, it's to recognize the differences between the average degrees of university students on dimensions of self-management and the total degree. Also, it's to recognize the differences between the average degrees of university students on the dimensions of social competence and the total degree. The sample of this study consists of (82) university students from both genders at Port Said university. Their ages range from (18 to 22). In order to reach the aim of the study, the researcher used the measurements of (self-management and social competence) which are prepared by the researcher himself. The results declared the following: There is a correlative relationship between the dimensions of self-management measurement and the total degree, and the dimensions of social competence measurement and the total degree of the university students. Furthermore, there are differences with statistical significance between the average degrees of the university students on dimensions of self-management measurement and the total degree. Also, there are differences with statistical significance between the average degrees of university students on the dimensions of social competence and the total degree. (Published abstract)
